With SMC2.0, IT departments can manage video resources including MCU, GK, Telepresence, HD/SD sites and desktop endpoints in a centralized and efficient manner. Conferences in various modes are easily set up and scheduled via Outlook, Web or endpoints and managed using SMC2.0 which provides multiple means for scheduling and participating in conferences. Huawei SMC2.0 can seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Ocs/Lync, facilitating users to use video conferences via this familiar software interface. The hierarchical and role-based management functionality makes the system management more efficient and secure. User roles are defined appropriate authority access is assigned depending on the organizational level.
